FOSDEM 2026 attendance

Hi team,
Kicking this thread to allow people to sync on their presence to the event as there will not be a formal presence of the OSPO Alliance but for sure many members of this community.
I personnaly won’t attend but let others know if you will.

Hiho Fred, good people,

I’ll be there with the Eclipse Foundation. We can certainly have OSPO Alliance stickers and/or whatever flyers on our booth. If we manage to have some GGI 1.3 printed before then, this would be great too. :slightly_smiling_face:

This is Ian from OCF, Taiwan. I will be attending together with my colleague Rosalind, who focuses on government engagement at OCF and previously worked at Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs (MoDA).

  • On January 29, I am registered for Code and Compliance – FOSDEM Edition 2026.
  • On January 30, I will attend FOSDEM 2026 Fringe: FOSS License and Security Compliance Tools Workshop.
  • From January 31 to February 1, OCF and the Taiwanese open source community will have a stand at FOSDEM.
    During FOSDEM, my colleague will also give a talk sharing Taiwan’s experience in promoting OSPO initiatives within government agencies.
  • From February 2 to February 6, we were originally planning to attend SOOCon organized by OpenUK. As the event format and schedule are still being finalized, we are currently keeping our plans flexible for those days waiting their change.

We would love the opportunity to meet OSPO Alliance friends in person if there is any chance to connect during this period.
