Goal:
- Allow the OSPO (team, lead, champ) to spend more time on business value topics (see also business value work stream) by identifying repetitive tasks that could be minimized by providing templates, knowledge base, … or document best practice to reach a “better” balance.
How:
- Identify the activities that consume a lot of time for less value versus the high value activities that would need more time. Examples: repetititve questions, trainings, management reports / exec report/comms, .. (Time management exercise)
- Prioritize and document good / effective practice
- Repetitive questions > Work on OSPO FAQ as public common good
- Training new hire > TBC
- Prototype FAQ templates to help document most frequently asked questions. Prototype available https://preview-304–ospo-alliance-org.eclipsecontent.org/faq/.
These will need to be personnalized for every organization but the value will come from :- curated, most common topics reviewed by OSPO Alliance community
- multi-language FAQ based on our powerful translations engine
Nota:
- Learning from early discussions: Automation and templates might bring AI as a mean to augment OSPOs. This needs to be handled with care as we don’t want external people to believe wrongly that AI could replace OSPOs.
