Interesting piece of feedback this week (thank you @Patrick)!
Our work and more specifically the Good Governance Initiative might benefit from a clearer definition of our target audience, thus helping people understand, naviguate through our activities. Defining personas is now added to our todo list
.
Characteristics ![]()
- Maturity: whether it be beginner/intermediate/confirmed or 100/200/300 (or better suggestions), the take away are different if you are starting our OSS governance and OSPO or if everything is already in place. Our assumption being that both can find benefit but differently,
- Organizations: obvious but worth repeating, that we aim at helping Public, Private and Academic organizations of all sizes,
- Regions: our translations tooling is there to make sure that all regions can be benefiting from our work without language barriers and we have a focus to avoid regional biases (ex regulations)
Below is a 1st tentative to map our work to personas ![]()
| Content | Beginner | Intermediate | Confirmed |
|---|---|---|---|
| GGI Handbook | Start with to position, structure | Use to optimize | |
| OnRamp | Learn from others | Share with others (focused topic) | |
| MyGGI Board | Start, plan building, diagnose | Communicate, expand in org | |
| Add-on FAQ | Do not start with blank page | Share back best practice helping curate FAQ | |
Please react by challenging or adding to the topics and happy to consider creative ideas about this notion of persona
