Open Source Stakeholder day 2025

Dear Community,

There is an opportunity for our industry colleagues and government officials to attend the Open Source Stakeholder Day 2025 taking place on 17 September 2025 at the Marriott Grand Place, Brussels, Belgium.

This unique event follows two years of the “Open Source Congress” event which has been designed to convene Open Source Software Foundations leadership to consider our long-standing open collaboration and rising to new challenges in an increasingly complex global environment.

This year’s host for the meeting is Eclipse Foundation, and in consultation with attendees from the 2023 and 2024 events, we will host for the first time the “Open Source Stakeholder Day”, inviting industry open source leadership and government officials to join the discussion following the prior day’s Congress event. This is an opportunity to meet directly with a software foundations’ leadership and government officials. The event will not be recorded to encourage an open exchange of ideas, common concerns and constructive dialogue (meetings will be convened under Chatham House Rule just like we do at the OSPO Alliance).

The registration fees for Stakeholder Day helps support the non-profit foundation’s collaboration as we gather to consider and map a path to rise to new challenges in a changing world and to provide a unique forum for stakeholder engagement.

You’ll find more details on the event page, including agenda and registration details.
